Friend sabotages friends to get beaten up by BGF groups

On February 21, 2012, when Saw Htoo and 3 other friends were taking their dinner at a restaurant, a group of BGF troops 1013 carrying the guns and hand grenades came into the restaurant and beat them up. They later found out that it was because of Naing Win, who sabotaged them with make up story. On February 23, Saw Htoo came to PVA and asked to investigate why Naing Win did it to them.

Saw Htoo said, “I, Soe Soe, Chit Min and Naing Win went to visit Myawaddy on February 21. We had fun eating a dinner at a restaurant. Naing Win called three of his friends to join us. They also ordered foods and alcohols. Naing Win seemed to be upset when I told him to pay. I didn’t know what he told to his 3 friends. All of them tried to punch me, and I punched them back. Then, they called their people to come. About 20 people arrived to the restaurant by yelling shoot! Shoot! I and Soe Soe ran the upstairs and hide in a room. Chit Min, who was left alone, was beaten with the shotgun stock and metal rods. He could manage to grab the shotgun and took out the magazine in time. However, his right ear was ripped off. His face was beaten horribly. We called the Myawaddy police while he ran away and hid in the toilet. The police finally came and took us to the police station. When we told the police that we didn’t want to press charge in this regard, they took us to the shore so that we could come back to Mae Sot. The key responsible in this case is Naing Win. So, we would like you to investigate him.

PVA solving the problem

After PVA interviewed with Naing Win, he took full responsible for what had happened to his friends. He apologized to his friends for what he had done terribly wrong. PVA ordered him to pay for all the medical expenses of Chit Min.
