Saving a runaway person who was sold to fishing boat

Ma Sandar the sister of the victim asking PVA for help

Ahnku aka Sai Heinnyanpha, a worker passport holder, who was in line waiting for visa, was persuaded by a human trifficker to get to Bangkok illegally. After arriving to Bangkok, he was sold to a fishing boat in Achaung near Maharchai.

His first attempt to run away met with torture and rearrested. The second attempt was also failed ending up with the arrest by the police that returned him to the same fising boat at 6ooobaht. He had faced serious tortures like beating and throwing into the water by tying up with the rope this time. His third attempt was successful by hiding in the woods. While hiding, he managed to contact his sister living in Myawaddy, Burma by phone.

On November 4, 2010, Ma Sandar came to PVA for help finding her brother. PVA by using its contacts in Maharchai had managed to find and provide a safe-heaven in Bangkok city on November 6. Now, he was still in contact with his sister by saying “everything’s ok.”
