The lost daughter returned to mom

Ma Wai asking PVA to look for her daughter

On November 24, 2010, Ma Wai asked PVA to look for her missing daughter named Ma Chaw Popo Chit.

According to her, her daughter asked for the permission to participate in Loi Krathong festival, a candle light floating ceremony in accordance with the Buddhist tradition, held near the Myawaddy-Mae Sot Bridge, and promised to come back in time on November 21, 2010. At 12pm she called her telling her that she’s still in the festival by not knowing how to come back home. Then, she asked the neighbors for help. However, none of them dared to go out in the mid-night due to their illegal status. And, she had never returned home ever since.

PVA finally found the missing daughter at a factory in Bansaunkwe village and returned to the mother. And, PVA had arranged them to go back to Burma upon their request.
