Demanding for the medical treatment and compensation

Kyaw Moe Htun, the victim, at PVA office

PVA took a legal action for Kyaw Moe Htun, whose head was severely beaten by his employer named Phi Sawan, a Thai man, and the responsible person named Phi Tot, a Thai man, at Mae Sot police station. PVA explained the police that the employer was hiding away from paying for his medical treatments costing more than 25,000baht to pay to the Mae Sot hospital that could manage to safe his life by stopping the bloods, which were about to sink into the brain by the open surgery. Still, the hospital had stopped the treatments for his inability to pay for his payment due, as it explained to the police.

On July 9, 2010, the case officer named Nai Salaryut Chantaung of the Mae Sot police station in consultation with PVA brought both of them and ordered Phi Tot to pay 28,000baht for the medical fees and 15,000baht for the compensation to Kyaw Moe Htun. And, they both had agreed to it finally.
