On January 26, 2012, PVA was reported by Ma Cho, who owned a teashop, that a man named Alal Khwe had destroyed her curries that were prepared for sale.
Alal Khwe found at PVA office
With regard to the incident, Ma Cho said, “He and my niece were lovers. We don’t like it. So, we have arranged for her to go back to Burma. And, he was angry with us for that. He came to my shop and slammed the table, which was prepared with the curries for sale, up site down. The table also was destroyed. We are afraid if he might come back and insult us again.”
PVA brought Alal Khwe and his mother to the office, and told them that destroying other’s property and business was a crime. Therefore, it warned him to stop such action further. He finally agreed to pay for the damage and not to do it again by signing a promissory note.
