Solving the unpaid salary dispute

On November 23, PVA helped the workers to get their salaries back from the employer.

Maung Moe Kyaw and Maung Aung Htoo informed PVA that their salaries were not paid by their employer named Ko Win Htun, who was a masonry contractor on November 22.

Maung Moe Kyaw said, “We have worked for Ko Win Htun as the masonry workers about one and half months ago. He gave us some advance money though. But, we were not paid for the monthly salary. Now the money is tight for us.”

Therefore, PVA brought Ko Win Htun to its office for the settlement. He explained PVA that it was not because he did not want to pay them but because he had the personal and financial problems now. And, he agreed to pay the money he owed them. Both parties signed an agreement for the settlement in front of the PVA officials finally.
