Helping for mother-son reconnection

On December 5, 2011, Ma San Aye claimed PVA that her son Ko Soe (21) was taken to Thailand without her knowledge by a woman named Ma Po, who promised him to get a job and exploited his wages, and he was left near 37 waterfalls now.

PVA went to 37 waterfalls along with the Burmese head of the region, and found Ko Soe. According to Ko Soe, he went to Bangkok to look for a job on his own decision. And, he was arrested by Thai police when he was on his way back from Bangkok due to the floods. Ma Po paid for his release, and that was the reason he worked for Ma Po in order to pay back the money he owed her. He acknowledged that Ma Po never exploited his labor.

PVA and the Burmese head explained the mother that Ko Soe was legally old enough to decide what he wished to do. And, he was entitled to work for Ma Po further if he wished to even though the money he owed was settled. PVA finally arranged Ma San Aye to contact with her son.
