Waepon village’s fight


Burmese family under threat by Thai people

U Thame family working in a farm in Waepon village, Maeramat township was sent to jail for three days for fighting against a Thai resident.

After the family was released, the family faced the threat by the Thai residents there resulting to move out of the area. The family finally came to PVA for help on July 8, 2011.

PVA managed to arrange for them to move a safer place and to get the jobs for their survival.
