On November 19 at 5am, Maung Kyaw Pot Htun, who went out of the house to pee in the backyard, was brutally attacked by a neighbor, a Thai’s dog sustaining severe injuries in the neck, head and ear.
The father took the child to Mae Sot hospital for medical treatment causing 2765baht for the medical treatment and 1500baht for the travel cost. When asked to pay for the money for the trouble, the Thai man told him that he would not pay for it, and insisted the father to kill the dog instead.
Ko Soe Min appealed PVA that as a day laborer, who could barely make the end meet, he couldn’t effort to pay 2765baht to hospital without the help of PVA.
PVA went to the Thai man’s home and negotiated to pay for all the charges, and he finally agreed to it.
