Two Burmese men sold to the fishing boat

The human trifficker sold Aung kyaw Soe (22) and Min Htun Nyein (21) to the fishing boat, according to Ko Tin Htun a cousin of them, who reported PVA for help on January 30, 2011.

Maung Oakkar in red shirt was questioned by PVA

PVA brought the trafficker named Oakkar (29) on February 2, 2011, and interrogated. After carefully listening to both parties, they originally had agreed to take them to Bangkok by Oakkar’s arrangement, and pay him for the arrangement. When arrived in Bangkok, the carry driver took them to Chonpuri and sold them to a fishing boat because of the non-payment for his carry charge. PVA came to understand that both the driver and Oakkar had the responsibility in this case. Therefore, PVA ordered both of them to return the young men by paying what they owed to the fishing boat.
