On October 4, 2011, a resident of (-----) in Mae Sot named Ma Hla Oo had reported to PVA for her missing daughter named Ma Zarchi Myint a 15 years old.

According to her, Ma Zarchi Myint had never returned home after going out for shopping. When the mother inquired her friends, they said she had gone along with Maung Moe Win a resident of (----) in Mae Sot lately.
Therefore, PVA along with (KYO) visited to Maung Moe Win’s house and found the girl there. After the negotiation explaining that she still was an underage girl, he agreed to return the girl to her parents.

During the negotiation, PVA found out that the family of Maung Moe Win didn’t understand the legal consequence of marrying an underage girl at all. Thus, PVA had decided to educate both parents and children among the Burmese community with regard to the legal consequence of the illegal marriage.
In Ma Zarchi’s case, PVA and K.Y.O had educated the parents of both parties about the consequence and negotiated them to settle it in a civil manner. And, the girl was finally returned her home.
