PVA preparing the meals for the refugees
PVA families helping to cook the foods
On November 8, 2010, PVA collected the donations like foods and drinking water from the local residents and others, and distributed them to the refugees. After PVA found too many refugees who were still in need for help, PVA decided to cook the foods and collect the other needs at the PVA headquarter, and sent them to the refugees frequently by using a truck.Within two days, PVA took 15 trips to send the foods and water for the refugees.
On November 10, the Thai authorities had repatriated the refugees. However, due to the ongoing civil war, the refugees in total of 1100 people had to come back and hide in the Tatmahar village, 1.gate, 2.gate, 17.gate and Yelal Island along the Moei River. Thus, PVA continued the assistance and aides to them further.
